“Trish is an outstanding yoga instructor and I could sense this the first time we met over zoom. I have experienced her passion and talent first hand as she guided us through multiple beautiful and challenging sessions. She is creative and flexible (literally and figuratively) with her style of flow depending on what her clients need and want to experience in each session. “So I worked with Trish back in 2018 in-person, and it completely transformed my idea about fitness. She showed me that even with a plus-size body and multiple injuries I was extremely CAPABLE of doing much more than I knew. She really showed me how proper form made moves I thought impossible actually possible, and really opened my eyes to the fact that modifications didn’t make my workout inferior, but empowering.
Life happened, I moved away from Toronto. I continued my fitness journey with this new found empowerment and actually went on to become a certified trainer myself. Then the pandemic happened, a lower back injury took me out the fitness game for a few months. I found my way back and started a small virtual fitness platform but realized something was missing. Though I LOVE teaching I needed my own workouts for my own fitness development and mental release as the pandemic depression is real. Plus being an entrepreneur the mental fatigue is SO REAL, I needed to train outside of work for my own stress management.

“As I near the end of my sessions with Trish ?, I’m reflecting on my progress and wow has there been a change. I have more stability, openness ,and strength in my hips and shoulders. I will say I’ve been doing physio for these areas as well every couple weeks but I know my progress wouldn’t be the same without Trish. There were things she showed me that complemented what I was doing in physio. Frankly, they worked hand in hand without ever meeting each other and my hips are better for it. “Due to neck strain and a repetitive injury in my right shoulder yoga had been recommended by multiple practitioners in order to start strengthening the weak muscles. In order to start yoga, I knew I couldn’t just find a class. I needed a specialist who could custom create a program, one which would help me to feel safe and help me to strengthen and help me to become more mobile and flexible. I have achieved all of those things. I now know what to do in order to stretch and/or roll (with myofascial release) to find relief for my injury. If it hadn’t been for Trish, I would still be seeking this relief.

“Like so many other aspects of our lives, the first lockdown back in March 2020 put exercise and healthy eating on the back burner for me.
I’ve been exclusively working from home, logging in early, logging off late, working through lunch with little to no movement throughout the day. I am grateful that I have a job where I am able to stay safe while working from the comforts of my home.
The drawbacks are that I can no longer count on my daily commute to and from the office or walking between meetings as part of my activity each day. The temptation of the food court is gone but, I have a stocked kitchen available to me 24/7.
All of this has led to putting on extra weight, loss of flexibility and muscle strain from sitting all day long.
I’m not worried though because I have a plan which includes starting a new virtual routine of yoga and personal training with Trish, 3 times a week. I’ll miss our in person sessions but this is the next best thing.
Trish has accommodated my work schedule and I’m making a concerted effort to take more breaks, go for walks and watch what I eat. Everything is different, but Trish and I have adjusted and I’m excited about this new journey together!”

“When I first started training with Trish, I was nervous. I have chronic hip issues that (of course) aggravated a couple of weeks before the scheduled start of training. On the day we started training, my mobility, and strength were greatly limited; I was actually using a cane while walking. Trish listened to my needs, and modified exercises to allow me to get the most out of our time together. She was supportive and motivating while still encouraging me to push myself in the ways that I could. Fast forward to three weeks later, and I am already stronger.
